This is not one of his familiar theatrics. Ace comedian, Segun Rasheed A., aka SEGE, is indeed working very hard towards launching a television show called Morning Laffta. Billed to go on air in a matter of months, the show, according to the comedy powerhouse, is not exactly a new concept. He tells us, “Morning Laffta is just to spice up your morning with laughter where I will be the major player while guest comedians will be invited twice in a month.
Morning Laffta with SEGE, he says further, is a serious but comical look at topical issues. “I want to be the voice of the people. The show is a satirical thrust on political, social, cultural and economical issues across Nigeria, Africa and the world. We will treat topical issues in a didactic but humorous way so that people will be entertained and still get the message we are passing”.
