ASUU STRIKE: Kogi Students commiserate with ASUU over death of Iyayi
Lokoja – The President of the National Association of Kogi Students, Mr Abubakar Shuaib, has expressed sympathy with the leadership of ASUU over the death of Prof. Festus Iyayi.
Shuaib told a news conference on Friday in Lokoja that the association received the news of the death of Iyayi with shock.
He urged the leadership of ASUU not to see the death of the great professor as an end to negotiation on the strike.
He prayed God to grant the families of Iyayi and Nigerians the fortitude to bear the loss.
He urged ASUU to find a lasting solution to the strike, saying “if there was no strike, the professor would not have died.’’
Shuaib also prayed for Gov. Idris Wada, saying that the governor would never have any course to be involved in an accident again. (NAN)
