Daring Youths Arrest Two Robbers In Benin

Two young men suspected to be responsible for incessant robbery operations along benin road, a gate way to Auchi express way, are now in the dragnet of the police.
They were apprehended recently by the youths and handed over to the police in Benin.


The men had on January 26, during one of their regular robbery operations along Benin-Auchi Express way snatched a motor vehicle bellonging to one Emamoke Ogo, but luck was not on  their side when struck again on Feb 1st.
According to reliable source, they were taken unaware by the daring youths who had GSM tip off mobilized quickly and launched a sudden attack that threw them, ++robbers into disarray.
Information gathered affirmed that some memmbers of the gang who escaped sustained fatal injuries. Two others who were subsequently given a hot chase while trying to escape with a motor vehicle later discovered to have been earlier snatched from Emamoke, were intercepted, over powered and promptly handed over to the police in Benin.
Meanwhile, source close to the police affirmed that the men had made useful statement to the police and that the police wre making frantic efforts to track down one Esan, said to have been named as a member of the gang.
