 Four Burnt To Death In Bauchi Road Crash
Four persons have been burnt to death while five others sustained injuries in a fatal road accident that occurred in Kari village in Darazo local government area of Bauchi State.

Sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Sector Commission Henry Sunday Olatunji confirmed the incident, saying it involved a commercial Toyota Hiace bus and a Mercedes Benz 190.

He said the incident involved nine persons, among them eight male and a female, saying of the number four were burnt beyond recognition and the remaining five sustained injuries.

Olatunji also said the men of the Federal Road Safety Corps rescued the victims and evacuated all the causalities including the corpses to Darazo General Hospital while all those injured were taken to Soro Hospital.

He attributed the cause of the accident to over speeding and reckless driving and advised motorists to ensure that they observe traffic rules and regulations at all time in order to save their lives and those of passengers.
