Meet the Nigerian lady who commited suicide days after she sent out suicide message to her Facebook friends ampete Fatima Usman was a graduate of the University of Maiduguri , before her death, she lived and worked in Abuja. She sent out a suicide message to some of her friends on Facebook on October 1 2013.
In the suicide letter, Fatima informed her friends that she was going to terminate her own life, but unfortunately, none of them took her seriously. They must have thought it was a joke. However, one of the people who got Fatima's message was convinced that she would indeed commit suicide since her message contained a bothersome phrase - “end it all.” The worried friend was later persuaded by some of their friends who also got the same message that everything was okay with the deceased.
Seven days after she sent the suicide message, October 8, 2013, preisely 3 hours after her last Facebook post, Fatima's friends started commenting that she had died. Her body was reportedly discovered by members of her family.
So sad! Apparently, she wanted her friends to save her from herself but they didn't take her warning message seriously.
