In the video above, 49-year-old Senator, Ahmed Yerima who wedded his 13-year-old bride in Abuja, has come out to openly defend underage marriage.
It is important to note that, as at now marriage for anyone under the age of 18 is illegal, so one has to wonder why the senator is still in jail.
